Day 36: Hukum aur Iltija (Orders, Requests & The "TO" Rule) 📢
Suno Wajid, jab hum kisi ke orders ya requests ko batate hain (Jaise: Doctor ne kaha ke dawai waqt par lo, Ya Boss ne kaha ke darwaza band kar do), toh hum "Said" ki jagah Told, Ordered, ya Asked ka use karte hain. Isme tense badalne ka koi jhamela nahi hota, bas TO lagana padta hai.
Wajid ki Tip #36: The "TO" Connector
Isme hum Verb ki 1st Form se pehle sirf TO lagate hain.
1. Positive Order: TO + Verb (Example: To go)
2. Negative Order (Mana karna): NOT TO + Verb (Example: Not to go)
1. Orders aur Advice (Told / Ordered / Advised) 📝
Jab koi kisi ko kuch karne ka kahe:
| Direct Speech | Indirect Speech | Tone |
|---|---|---|
| The Boss said, "Work hard." | The Boss told us to work hard. | Advice/Order |
| The Doctor said, "Take rest." | The Doctor advised me to take rest. | Suggestion |
2. Mana Karna (Negative Orders: "Not to") 🚫
Jab koi kaam karne se roka jaye, toh NOT TO lagayein:
- Direct: He said, "Don't smoke."
Indirect: He told me not to smoke. - Direct: Teacher said, "Don't talk."
Indirect: The teacher ordered us not to talk.
3. Requests (Asked / Requested) 🙏
Jab sentence mein "Please" aaye, toh Indirect mein "Please" hata kar Requested laga dete hain:
Direct: She said, "Please help me."
Indirect: She requested me to help her.
4. Daily Life Reporting
Wajid, ye sentences office mein bohot kaam aate hain:
- "My client told me to change the logo." (Mere client ne mujhe logo badalne ko kaha.)
- "The admin asked me not to share the password." (Admin ne mujhe password share na karne ka kaha.)
Vocabulary Hack:
Aap "Told" ki jagah Urged (zor de kar kaha) ya Warned (khabardar kiya) bhi use kar sakte hain agar baat sangeen ho.
Day 36 Homework:
Aaj aapko 3 aisi baatein likhni hain jo aapko kisi ne karne ko kahi hon (Orders/Requests), aur unhe "To" rule ke sath Indirect mein badalna hai. Kal milenge Chapter 37 mein jahan hum **"Conditionals" (Agar-Magar)** shuru karenge!
Excellent Wajid! Tumhari reporting ab mukammal (complete) ho gayi hai. ✨🚀
