Day 34: Kisi Ki Baat Batana (Direct & Indirect Speech: Basics) 🗣️

Suno Wajid, jab hum kisi ki kahi hui baat kisi doosre ko batate hain, toh uske do tarike hote hain:

  1. Direct Speech: Jo alfaaz usne kahe, bilkul wahi dohra dena. (Example: He said, "I am happy".)
  2. Indirect Speech: Uski baat ko apne alfaaz mein batana. (Example: He said that he was happy.)

Wajid ki Tip #34: The "THAT" Bridge

Indirect speech mein hum comma (,) aur inverted commas (" ") hata kar unki jagah THAT ka bridge lagate hain. Iske sath hi "I" badal kar "He/She" ho jata hai aur Present tense Past mein badal jata hai.

1. Tense Kaise Badalta Hai? 📝

Jab bahar "Said" (Past) ho, toh andar ka tense ek kadam peeche chala jata hai:

Direct Speech Indirect Speech Rule
He said, "I am busy." He said that he was busy. Am/Is -> Was
She said, "I work hard." She said that she worked hard. Present -> Past
They said, "We have a car." They said that they had a car. Have -> Had

2. Pronouns ka Badalna

Jab aap kisi aur ki baat kar rahe hain, toh "I" (Main) us bande ke hisab se badal jayega:

  • Ali said, "I am tired." -> Ali said that he was tired.
  • Sara said, "I am fine." -> Sara said that she was fine.

3. "Will" Ban Jata Hai "Would"

Future ki baat jab Indirect mein hoti hai, toh Will ko Would mein badal dete hain:

Direct: He said, "I will call you."
Indirect: He said that he would call me.

Vocabulary Hack:

Reporting ke liye sirf "Said" nahi, aap Told (bataya) ya Claimed (dawa kiya) bhi use kar sakte hain.

Day 34 Homework:

Aaj aapko 3 simple baatein likhni hain jo aapke kisi dost ne aapse kahi hon, aur unhe Indirect mein badalna hai. Jaise: "My friend said that he was going to market." Kal milenge Chapter 35 mein jahan hum **Indirect Questions** (Sawal kaise batate hain) sikhenge!

Bohat achhe Wajid! Tumhari English reporting ab professional ho rahi hai. 🎤✨
